AWANA is an international, non-denominational Bible-centered club for boys and girls, age 3 through 6th grade. It focuses on helping kids learn and commit to memory God's Word. AWANA meets on Tuesdays from 6-7:45 P.M. September through April.
The cost is $40 for the first child and $35 for each additional child in the same family. A payment plan is available. The fee covers uniforms, books, awards, snacks, and "the store" for the entire year.
The Clubs are:
CUBBIES - ages 3-4 (must be potty-trained)
SPARKS - Kindergarten through 2nd grade
TRUTH & TRAINING ("T&T") - 3rd through 6th grade
Each week in club we have...
Handbook Time: instruction between leader and clubbers (1 to 5 ratio) emphasizing Scripture memorization and understanding, and personal application. Scripture passages are taken from the New International Version of the Bible. Each child works at their own level in their own books.
Game Time: exciting games designed to promote leadership, team work and team spirit. The emphasis is on fun, not winning.
Council Time: clubbers meet as a group for an exciting interaction lesson time, often with crafts, led by outstanding leaders.
We also offer...
The AWANA Store: clubbers receive "AWANA bucks" each week for their achievements, and may spend them in the store, which is offered every 6 weeks.
Grand Prix: pine wood derby races for trophies and awards, held towards the end of the year.
