Dr. Neal Neuenburg - PastorNeal is married to Fran, who is a terrific Bible teacher and pianist. They have three children and two grandsons. He has a doctorate from Fuller Theological Seminary. Fun things for Neal include watching the Sacramento Kings, traveling and attending theater and performing arts events. Email
Vikki Petsche - Administrative AssistantVikki, with a 25-year background in home health care, has been our church secretary for five years. She enjoys the contact with people in the church her position affords. She finds especially rewarding seeing people grow through Bible study and prayer. She also enjoys having a wonderful boss like Pastor Neal.
She has three grown children and loves spending time with her two grandchildren, Shaylee and Samantha. She loves to read just about anything, go for walks in Bidwell Park - especially in the Fall, and travel extensively. Her favorite destinations are Hawaii, England and Greece. Email
Amaryah Reedy - Youth DirectorAmaryah
is a graduate of Champion Christian High School in Chico and has
attended Shasta College and Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry
(BSSM) in Redding. At BSSM, she received training in Youth Ministry,
Prayer and Intercession, Preaching, Counseling, Worship and Creative
Expression and more. She was involved with city outreaches in Redding,
and has traveled to the Midwest and Ireland on mission and outreach
trips.
She holds a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a licensed Christian counselor. She is married to Brian, who partners with her in ministry to our youth. Her desire is to see them grow in relationship to God and in fellowship with others. Contact Amaryah at 345-8697. Email
Carolyn Taylor - Chancel Choir Director
Carolyn (Boone) Taylor was born on a farm, and you can’t take the ‘farm’ out of the girl! Baptized at the age of 12 at church camp, she was involved as pianist, organist and songleader as a teenager in her church. She attended, for a short time, San Jose Bible College (now William Jessup University in Rocklin), which grounded her faith.
She has served as Choir Director at Bidwell Presbyterian Church in Chico, where she had an adult choir, three children's choirs and three bell choirs. She was the founder and director of the Allegro Bell Choir and children’s choir at First Christian Church in Chico for many years.
Married to Joseph since 1959, she has three grown children: Corinne Maloch of Monterey, Holly Peter, and Daren, of Chico, as well as four gorgeous grandchildren: Kyle, Allegra, Madison and Elijah.
She completed degrees in liberal studies and music at Chico State, holds several credentials and served on the Executive Board of California Music Educator's Association for twenty years. She has taught for Butte College and Chico Unified School District.
Retiring in 2003, Carolyn has taught the past two years a Good News Bible Club that meets at Marigold School weekly throughout the school year, as well as Sunday School at her church.
Carolyn’s major interests are: Jesus, her family, choral music, children, Praising-the-Lord-Music and art. Email
Clark Minor - Praise Team Director
Clark has directed church music in Northern California since 1980, serving churches in Chico, Redding and Paradise. He came on staff in May 2006 and enjoys, in particular, the freedom and spontaneity of the worship at Aldersgate. His passion is for the church to experience the fullness of God's presence through joyful, heartfelt and intimate worship.
He holds a Master's Degree in Music from California State University, Chico, and studied piano for over 25 years. He performed as a semiprofessional concert artist from 1980-1992. Recordings of his classical piano performances are available here. He teaches music courses in piano and theory at California State University, Chico.
His love of the outdoors is reflected in his hobbies: windsurfing, mountain biking, hiking and landscape photography. Email
